Centuries ago, Christians created many symbols to reflect the great truths of the Bible. Among these are the cross, globe, flame, the fish symbol, and so many more illustrations that remind us of God's heart.
The World Outreach logo draws on this influence, depicting a globe for the world that Christ died for; a flame for the Holy Spirit's enabling power; the word "Ministries" (plural) reflecting the variety of outreaches that our missionaries are involved in; and the reference Psalm 67:1,2 which is the cry of our heart . . .
Our prayer and desire is that God will empower us (by His grace and the Holy Spirit) -- and the missionaries we serve -- to help reach the world with God's love and message of salvation through Jesus Christ.
Psalms 67:1,2 . . .
"God be merciful unto us, and bless us; and cause His face to shine upon us. That thy way may be known in all the earth, and thy salvation among all nations."
